25th Anniversary of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games

At the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, the Spanish delegation won a total of 11 medals. Among them stood out two historic milestones: Gervasio Deferr’s gold in artistic gymnastics and María Vasco’s bronze in race walking — the first Olympic medal in Spanish athletics.
