A visit to the Olympic and Sports Museum, one of the planned activities for European Union sports directors in their official visit to Barcelona on February 25 and 26.

The European Union sports directors enjoyed a pleasant visit to the facilities of the Olympic and Sports Museum. Jaime Lissavetzky, Secretary of State for Sports and President of the Higher Council for Sports; Albert Soler, Director General of Sports of the Higher Council for Sports and Pere Alcober, Chairman of the Fundació Barcelona Olímpica and Sports Delegate for Barcelona acted as hosts to the European directors.

Following the welcome to Barcelona’s Olympic Museum – by Javier Lasunción, representing the Museum – and having listened to the proposal of establishing a European Sports Day – by Josep Monràs, president of the Sports Department of the Town Council of Barcelona – the European directors enjoyed a pleasant tour of the facilities of the Olympic and Sports Museum, paying special attention to the audiovisual and interactive area.
