Created in 1970 by its spiritual father, Enric Pámies, FOTOSPORT is this year celebrating a very special anniversary, its 40th. The contribution of photographers, through their creativity, acute vision and constant hard work in capturing the precise moment and offering us their personal insight into the whole spectrum of sporting endeavour. With more than 1758 photographs by 171 individuals from 38 countries on display, the importance of this biennial is clear to see. As part of its policy for sports culture, the Barcelona Olympic Foundation is hosting this magnificent exhibition at Barcelona Olympic and Sport Museum Joan Antoni Samaranch, and wishes to extend it thanks to the Reus Ploms Swimming Club for allowing it to be put on show from 11 January to 13 March 2011.
