Sports journalist and writer Núria Pastor donates her golf collection to the Joan Antoni Samaranch Centre for Olympic and Sports Studies

This way, the Centre continues increasing its documentary collection, becoming a reference centre in sports.

Núria Pastor started her career in journalism back in 1974, working in the newspaper Diuen and later in 4-2-4. In the early eighties, she started working for La Vanguardia, where she stayed until 2013. Throughout her career as a journalist, she has covered 99 Mayors and 15 Ryder Cup, has collaborated in various magazines, such as Golf, Fortuna Sport and Sol Golf, radio channels, such as Cadena Ser and Radio Marca, and television channels, like Sant Cugat TV. As a writer, she has participated in the creation of various yearbooks and has written a book about the history of golf in Sant Cugat.

During her career as a journalist she has collected and archived more than 500 volumes on golf, including magazines, books, tournament programmes and other club history documents, which she has now donated to the Joan Antoni Samaranch Centre for Olympic and Sports Studies.
